Sorry for the long quiet spell, but Adalric and I only just got back into the states.

Italy was both cool and, well, not. It's pretty, anyway. It was good to see Raven again, but he had some kinda crappy news for me too... I'll tell you about it when I get home if you're interested, but it's kinda detailed and involves too much back-history to go into here.

I'm glad to hear you got your school registration taken care of and shit; I know you're not looking forward to it, so I'm super-proud of you for doing it anyways. I don't blame you for not wanting to hang out with the sept much yet, but I'm gonna keep encouraging you to do that too. I know they can be fucking pricks, but listen - - if those pups give you any more crap about who your sister is and what (or who) they think she does, you tell me and I swear to Gaia I'll come straight down and kick all their fucking asses. And yeah, I know you can fucking take care of yourself, but remember that I've got fourteen years of big-sister-ness to catch up on and you shouldn't have to take shit for my shit regardless.

We'll be in Oregon for a little while yet - - maybe a few more weeks - - and then we might be going to Snowy Rock. I know I said I'd be home sooner, and I really thought I would be - - but really, it's not so far now that I can't hop down to see you or bring you up here if need be. So just holler if you need me, 'kay?
